Kelly Hopkins grew up loving all aspects of art. She particularly enjoys painting, sculpting, and photography, and refined her considerable natural gifts at the Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles. Kelly illustrated Alfie's AttacK!  in the last month of her senior year of high school in north San Diego county. She is also very familiar with this topic --- her asthma resulted in an ambulance ride from the high school to the local emergency room just a few weeks before she started on this book.
